This amazing book, Where Is The Vatican, is all about Vatican City, which is the smallest country in the world! Vatican City is where St. Peter’s Basilica is located, along with the Sistine Chapel, whose ceiling was painted by Michelangelo himself! It is also the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church. The origin of Vatican City lies in the story of Christianity, a story that began more than two thousand years ago. Wow!
A few years ago, I went on a trip to Vatican City, and as you can see, I visited the Sistine Chapel, the St. Peter's Basilica, St. Peter's Square, and the Vatican Museums. In the Sistine Chapel, I saw Michelangelo's truly magnificent paintings on the ceiling, but unfortunately, we were not allowed to take pictures. That's another reason to go visit it yourself!
