The Summer Olympics were very interesting to read about in this illustrated book, What Are the Summer Olympics. These events first took place around 2 700 years ago, around 700-800 BC. A lot has changed since then. Now, every four years during the summer, athletes from all around the globe participate in the Olympics. After the Olympics, many people continue on to be actors, princes, and even movie stars!
I rate this book only 3 out of 5 stars for a couple of reasons. Number one: the paragraphs sometimes "cut off". You know, the paragraphs sort of stop abruptly and continue on another subject. That made it super boring and it was hard to concentrate. I would have rated it 1 star, actually, but the interestingness of the subject itself brought the rating up 2 stars.
