Trump tests Positive for COVID-19

At 1:00 AM on Friday morning, Trump announced on a Twitter post that he had caught COVID-19, as well as saying “we will get through this together”.

It isn’t very clear exactly how he caught COVID-19, but apparently, he was in close contact with a trusted adviser named Hope Hicks, whose own positive test was announced on Thursday. That’s my theory.

Others think it’s karma that did it, because of all the comments and lies he made about the coronavirus, and now, he’s got it. In my opinion, though, the former theory is the one that makes the most sense to me.

People aged 64-74 with Covid in the US are five times more likely to need hospital care and 90 times more likely to die than somebody in their 20s.

He also has a few symptoms, including a fever and a stuffy nose.

Trump’s COVID risks are greater because of his gender and weight. Although men and women catch the virus at similar rates, men disproportionately die from the disease.

Trump’s weight, with a body mass index of 30.5, according to his most recent medical report, would place him at “increased risk of severe illness,” according to the CDC’s coronavirus advisory on risk factors. The agency said a body mass index of 30 or higher has increased risk.

His failure to wear a mask regularly may have left himself vulnerable to receiving a heavy dose of the virus, which is correlated with worse outcomes.

Even though some people might not feel the same, I hope that Trump gets well soon and I wish him a speedy recovery.
