Tornado touched down north of Montreal

At around 3:45 PM, Environment Canada confirmed a tornado touched down in Mascouche, Quebec this afternoon, which is 46 kilometres north of Montreal. There were no details about the severity of the tornado or reports of damage. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for the Greater Montreal Area.
