The Epic of Tay

Hey Guys! In Social Studies, I’m learning about epics, which are basically ancient hero stories. My teacher had us write one and I would like to share mine about me!
Once there was a boy named Tay.
He lived on a planet called Earth.
In a city.
A regular, polluted city.
With A regular life.
Until…
The wind called out in a whisper.
“Go to the edge of the galaxy where you will find a barrier.”
“Step through the barrier of the galaxy.”
“You will find a small star.”
“And place the star in the middle of the neighboring universe, The Chocolate Milky Way.”
“Then all of the stars, suns, and planets will be replenished.”
“All the universes and galaxies will be new.”
“Even Earth will be provided with everlasting trees and pollution will be gone.”
Then the whisper disappeared.
Tay would leave at midnight.
When midnight came, he started to regret his plan.
He thought of all the things that would be left behind if he never returned.
But he thought if Earth was beautiful, life would be better.
So at midnight, Tay went outside.
He wondered how he would get up.
Then the wind picked him up into the sky.
He then floated in space, greeted by the wind.
The wind said,”I am glad you still came. Here is a space suit and a sword of light.”
“Your destination will be that way as it points into the darkness.”
“ You must go now”, said the wind.
Then silence.
When he got to the end of the universe, there was a wall.
And a little door.
Once he stepped in front of the little door, it opened.
He first picked up the little star next to the door.
Then he looked around.
He saw the same exact planets on this side of the door.
Until he came closer.
There were sugar rushed aliens on all of the planets.
He flew a few feet then saw a swarm of sugar rushed aliens from Pluto chasing him.
He flew as fast as he could around Pluto.
Until they eventually fell asleep because of the sugar.
Tay then flew for a few minutes,
Until…
He flew towards Jupiter.
A floating sign was there and pointed into 2 pathways.
Tay had to pick a pathway to pass through if he did not want to pass through the asteroid belt.
He picked the first path.
It had twisty turns but a few seconds later the floor revealed an obstacle course.
It had swinging asteroids, floating space debris, and shooting rockets.
Tay first dodged the swinging asteroids.
He then hopped over the space debris.
Then he jumped onto one of the shooting rockets and waited till it went to the end.
After that he left through the exit.
At the end was a small town.
He then saw that there was a space shuttle for transportation to the palace.
But he needed to be disguised.
Tay then found an alien mascot costume in an alley behind a restaurant.
He also found 2 pieces of candy and put it in his backpack.
Tay put it on and boarded the space shuttle.
It went past the asteroid belt and went through a residential area on Mars.
Then came Earth.
Earth was a big palace made of titanium steel and functioned using the best technology.
When he got to the front, Tay hid behind one of the pillars.
He made a plan to run behind the pillars, go down the stairs, and make it through the halls to get to the exit.
When he was about to run past the last pillar, he stopped in his tracks.
The king was humongous and guarded with 10 guards.
Then…
One of Tay’s candies fell out of his backpack
Then the guards and king started to chase Tay.
He scrambled down the stairs and into the hallway.
The king put on an alarm that rang through the palace.
It also set off traps.
Spikes appeared.
Two of the guards popped after they hit the spikes.
Tay quickly hopped over them.
Then, fire shot out of holes on the wall.
Tay rolled on the ground under them.
He was almost at the end when…
A big wrecking ball hit him and smashed him into the wall.
He then fell on the ground.
While he was blacked out, the wind visited him in a dream.
“Always stay confident even in the hardest of times.”
The wind then blew the candy out of the bag and into Tay’s mouth just as the guards were going to take him.
And that caused a sugar rush.
He had so much power that he immediately started running all the way through the exit.
He then flew over Venus and Mercury faster than the speed of light.
Tay then flew into the Sun.
The sun made a hole when Tay hit it.
He had enough power to reach the stone in the middle of the room.
He stepped closer to the stone, thinking of all the good things that will happen to the universe.
And then he placed the star.
He then woke up in his bed, in his house, in the city, on the planet of Earth.
The replenished and non polluted Earth.
He stepped outside.
The wind.
The birds.
The swaying of grass.
He ran up the hill.
And then was greeted by the wind.
“You have replenished the universe and will forever live in peace.”
“I am very proud of your accomplishments and hope to see you soon.”
Then the wind left.
Evil was gone and the Earth was great.
Then he ran off into the distance to enjoy a new day.
