Loss Of Taste After Covid

Some people have claimed that they have lost their taste after testing negative to covid. Me and my family got covid and tested negative last week but still my mom has not retrieved her taste yet. Some people on tik tok have invented remedies for it and say that it works but none seem to work when other people try it, one of these remedies are eating a raw shallots onion, another one is ,to roast an orange and eat it while it is still hot.
