Tip number 1: Be consistent. If you say “Hi, Polly!” one time, and “Hello, Polly!” another time, it will be hard for the bird to learn.
Tip number 2: Be repetitive. Your bird will only learn the word or phrase that you want them to learn if you repeat it a lot. This helps the bird get more familiar with the word that you want them to learn.
Tip number 3: Choose an easy word or phrase, like birdy bird, or hello! If you make it too complicated, then your bird won’t do a very good job of learning it.
