How to make a panini - By Skye
2 pieces of crusty bread
2 tbsp melted butter
½ cup (64 grams) shredded mozzarella cheese
A few leaves of basil
Place bread slices on a cutting board. Brush one side of each slice with melted butter using a pastry brush.
Flip the slices so that the butter side is facing down.
Sprinkle half of the cheese onto one of the slices.
On top of that, add the tomato slices and the basil.
Sprinkle the remaining quarter cup of cheese on top of the basil.
Place the second bread slice on top, buttered side up.
Place your sandwich so far into a frying pan.
Place a saucepan lid on top, and press down.
Cook the panini for 4 minutes. Flip it over, and cook for another two minutes.
Put it on a plate.
This is the most important step. Eat it!
