Elmo from Sesame Street just got vaccinated against COVID-19

“There was a little pinch, but it was okay!!” On June 28, 2022, our beloved Elmo, the star of Sesame Street, got his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Louie, Elmo’s dad, had a lot of questions about the vaccine, so he talked to their pediatrician to make sure they were making the right decision. He learned that “Elmo getting vaccinated is the best way to keep himself, our friends, neighbours and everyone else healthy and enjoying the things they love.”
The vaccine is now available for kids under 5 just like Elmo, who is three and a half years old. However, some parents are reluctant to vaccinate the younger ones.
