The white panther is a rare and elegant creature. White panthers are much rarer than black panthers. The white panther is also called "albino" or "leucistic" (from the ancient Greek "Leukos = white).
The panther's habitat includes the entire African territory, southern and eastern Asia, with greater concentration in the Sunda islands. In reality, the name "panther" is basically a synonym of "leopard" but many are instead convinced that they are two different species.
According to the Apaches, the white panther would bring happiness.
