COVID-19 Report: 10/10/21

CookyLela News hasn’t done a COVID-19 report in a really long time, so we’re going to be writing one now!

On Sunday, Quebec reported 621 new COVID-19 cases, 430 of those not fully vaccinated. 400 of those positive tests were found in unvaccinated individuals, while 30 were from those who received one dose of vaccine more than two weeks ago, and 182 people were double-vaxxed more than a week ago.

Of those eligible to receive a dose of vaccine, the province says 90 per cent (6,724,596 total) of the population has received at least one dose of vaccine, and 85 per cent (6,388,063 total) has received both doses. Meanwhile, us kids under the age of twelve are still not eligible, so we’re waiting on Pfizer and Moderna to give us those results.
